New HSA debit cards being issued to members in July

Reissued HSA CardsKaiser Permanente’s acquisition of Group Health has brought with it a number of changes. New facility signage. A bold advertising campaign. Excitement in the marketplace. And now new debit cards for those members who have HSA accounts.

On July 16, we’ll be mailing to appropriate members their new HealthEquity® Visa® Health Account Cards.1 Newly designed, these will include Kaiser Permanente’s logo. Other than a new debit card, your clients will not experience any change to how their HealthEquity account works, or the services we provide.

The new cards are scheduled to go out on July 16 and should arrive 7 to 10 days after mailing. Your clients’ current cards will continue to work until the new cards are activated. At that point, the older cards can be destroyed.

HealthEquity will be sending a note to this effect with the cards to your Kaiser Permanente HSA clients, as well as posting a similar message on their website.

If your clients have any questions about the new debit cards, have them contact HealthEquity at 866-346-5800. They’re available to assist and answer questions 24/7.

1. HealthEquity® Visa® Reimbursement Account Card is issued by The Bancorp Bank pursuant to a license from Visa U.S.A. Inc. The Bancorp Bank; Member FDIC.
